The music videos that I will be deconstructing are;

The song is sung/rapped by an american rap artist called Eminem. He grew up in a less economically developed area where rap seems to be more prevalent. This is because the stereotypical 'gangsta' come from poorer areas and this is the type of music that they are into. They also tend to use women and jewellery to look rich and dominant in their videos. This is contradicted by Eminem in his opening scene as he is stood there in casual clothes with no women, cars or jewellery around him. They also treat women as objects which is one thing that isn't prevalent in any Eminem songs. Therefor he does not conform to the stereotype which stands out in his videos before you even hear the lyrics.
